Hotel Fusion rates

Hi all!

I have emailed this hotel about rates, but no response yet. They do not list them on their website, but I've heard they've done renovations and it is quite affordable for beachfront.

We hung out at their beach bar a lot on my first trip and loved it. Has anyone stayed here recently?

I stayed there in February of this year and absolutly LOVED it! And the price was not to be beat! I highly recommend it

was just at Fusion over thanksgiving - did not stay there, just ate and hung out. But I do not think that they have actually done any renovations to the rooms since we DID stay there last january ('07). The rooms then were OK - nothing great, sorta rundown - but clean. BUT...for the $$ I'd stay elsewhere and hang at Fusion. BTW, we had a garden room. Just my .02

How does it compare to a place like the Colibri?

We have stayed at the Colibri the last 5 times in Playa. Its right on the beach and a cabana for $85 seems like a dang good deal but I am always up for trying new places and things. If anyone can give me an idea as to prices or of other places that are reasonable as thats what we shoot for....room needs to be clean but simple and safe...dont spend any time in the room anyway so who cares!
