Thanks, Claudia! John & I love La Barca. I haven't had their ceviche yet, but it looks great! We usually get the filete de pescado al ajillo. It's a fish filet with dried ajillo peppers. John also enjoys their chicken fajitas.

What freaked me out a bit is that I've eaten at almost every place shown!

I'm going for forward a link for this thread to my extended family (who will be joining us this summer for a few weeks in Akumal and Playa) so they can see what yummies they are in for!

L'esspresso moved to a new location on C.T.M., taking it's place is another restaurant, apparently run by the same people. It's called Da Gigi, and they deliver. How do I know? Well... they delivered a menu to me, that's how! Here it is in all it's glory:

Hours, Tel/Email, Appetizers, Pasta
Pasta (cont.), Fish, Seafood, Meat, Pizza
Pizza, Coffee, Dessert, Beverages


I'll probably make a separate announcement soon... but you read it here first. Whenever we have menus to share, we'll post them on the individual restaurant listing page so they are easier to find. Also, since menus and prices have a tendency to change, we'll also date the menus. Anything older then 3-6 months is probably outdated and should only be used as a guide. We'll update menus when we can, but restaurant owners are encouraged to send us regular updates.

We just got back from a 3 week trip to the States. I took a quick walk through town to see what places have opened or closed in the past 4-5 weeks. Check out our home page to see the latest additions.

The breakfasts at Cueva del Chango are terrific, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere as well. Check out their website for the breakfast menu. No prices are posted though.
