Our latest cross border adoption went perfectly for little Taco and his new mom and dad this morning and he was a little angel.

I had trouble waking the little guy and he spent the drive to the airport fast asleep, check in was abreeze and the counter staff of course fell in love with him, so paperwork doe, check in sorted and its goodbye Mexico hello USA for Taco (sorry for the quality but it was dark)

o on the way back i decided to stop by the clinic site to see how things are going, work is progressing (if a little slowly )




Imagine my surprise when an old friend stopped by to say hi


Its Pogo... damn i missed this crazy pup, and he brought a few friends along to play in the sand




Pogo lives only a couple of blocks away so i guess e will be seeing a lot more of him

Wash day was a blast againthis week with an amazing 34 peole showing to help clean the dogs, we had a couple of new arrivals and an adoption and we also have a couple of temporary guests too.

Our frst was brought by avery nice family who had sadly found themselves in a bad financial situation, they adore the dog but just can not keep it

This sweet girl was rescued from some idiots who thought that spray painting a dog was fun

This is the little guy Manuel that was found last week by he family who wanted to take him to the US, things didnt quite work out so we had to bringhim to the shelter, it was difficult as he loves people but does just not get on with other dogs, we were worried about him but great news he was adopted last night

Whata great time we had Andy ! washing & waxin' the doggies and what a great time we had adopting Taco ! You and Jen are the BEST and make it sooooooooo easy to adopt and take back across the border, you two truly do wonderful work and we Thank you sooooo much for Taco....NOW Deb just has to remember NOT to give a puppy a FULL bowl of food after a long trip home ! uhhhhhhhhhhhh... had a GREAT time tonight chasing after him and cleaning up poo here, there, over there, under here, he's doing just great though with our other dog and the 3 cats !!!!

Thanks Andy for all you and your crew do down there! Wish we could be there full time so we could help every week!!

Little Luna is doing well. She is asleep right now - curled up in another plush bed that she now owns! A friend gave her a bed with lots of cushioning and she loves it!

She went out in the snow today. I don't think she liked it very much! Only about an inch but she was too cold. During our hike I had to pick her up and put her in my coat to warm her up. I'm off to go buy her a jacket to wear to keep her warm! Poor girlie hasn't much fur to keep her warm!!

Duck - Taco is sleeping in bed with you!?!? Wow, we're not that nice! She's in a crate next to our bed and settles right in after a few whimpers. Friday night, she did get to sleep in bed with us but that was by accident! We fell asleep cuddling her! Woke up with her in the same position -- on her back, snuggled between Steve & I. Spoiled girl!!!

PPS is using sesame oil on my sponsor doggie Hayley and it is working miracles on her furless body!!!

She continues to grow fur!! She is gaining weight and I think gaining some self confidence!! Yeah PPS!...Im anxious to see Hayley again!!
