It was a Sony Cybershot DSC-S40 and no I wouldn't get it again. After only having the camera for 2 years the lens buggered up and the cost of getting it repaired wasn't worth it. Now having said that I didn't really have any other complaints about the camera while it was working

Default Cameras (at least my pics)

I got a Nikon D40 for still pictures. It's the only Nikon I could afford and you do get a great camera for the price. I'll post some pics as soon as I have some time to get them uploaded.
I also have a Panasonic pocket camera for video (and pretty good point and shoot still pics too). For a pocket camera this one takes very good video and is easy to use. I took it out to Sturgis last year and got some great stuff even while riding the Harley.

Sheri, if you haven't already junked the camera, you might give it to someone (like me) to take a look. We've had 2 Canon cameras with crapped out lens. The first, we drove to Merida to get fixed - time/hotel/gas/repair was about $200 US (more than a new camera would cost). Our latest camera had the same problem. I opened the case, cleaned some sand off the lens, and it's been back in business for 2 months already. Here in Playa, the elements are extremely damaging to sensitive camera lenses.

Besides, if you were just going to junk the camera anyway, it doesn't hurt to have someone open it and see if it can be repaired without costing an arm and a leg.

We take great care to provide some of the best roads in the country.

I don't need "Now Entering...or Welcome to" signs, I just look for the roads to turn to crap, and I know I've entered into an adjoining state.

Your garden pictures are amazing Sheri. Gardening in one of my loves in life - four or five months a year just doesn't cut it. Lucky you to have it all year round. Maybe someday ...

I have a Pana Lumix...love the Leica lens. Wish I would have had it when I lived in the Black Hills a few years ago...could have gotten some pretty good Sturgis pics.

Or this...

and this...

I'd get better pictures with the Pana now, though. Guess I'll just have to make a trip back there.
