Ugh! I hope it's not like that in July! Last year taking my camera onto a beach in Oregon on a windy day cost me around $1200 due to sand in my housing and in a lens. Needless to say, I'm a little gun-shy about taking my camera out on a beach in the wind.

EDIT: I did just buy this little Olympus Stylus tho....it's 7 MP. I bought it because it is waterproof up to 10ft for up to 3 hours, I wanted it for snorkeling and the beach, for sand, etc. when I don't want to haul the big one around. I tested it in the pool....I was sure nervous about dunking it under the water tho because it just looks like an ordinary camera, seems like it shouldn't be waterproof!!

I hear you there...I have sand in my camera bag but wanted to wait till I got home and had the canned air to start blowing off my cameras.......I remember when you were having issues with your camera......

Cameras have come along way in a short time I think........Nice to have one that you can have in the sand, snow, rain, etc and not have to worry about it for sure.

Very, very awesome video!! Great skills you have there- and it is so easy to tell how happy you two are when watching the video!

It should be made an advert for the area, really.

Beautiful job, you two!

I just loved the rise and shine section...it reminded me so much of the nature segments they used to do at the end of the show on CBS Sunday Morning...they'd pick a beautiful place and just do a few minutes of gorgeous video with the sounds of nature in the background. Just loved it really.

Mikey, what video software did you use for this video, and what did you just buy?

I used old faithful Windows Movie Maker.......But I purchased Ulead Videstudio Plus........I am going to redo the video using it as soon as I learn how to use it......There are so many different things that you can so with the software as far as overlays, effects, etc.......

Excellent job...you probably stretched the limits of Movie Maker with that video...good luck with the new software. Looking forward to seeing the results!
