Default Hidden Worlds Cenote Park

Is the ultimate package on this tour the best?
I finally talked my wife into doing this has anyone else done this tour?

Didn't do the ultimate package but did do the Cenote Snorkeling tour (part of the ultimate). Totally mind blowing experience.

I did this a few years ago when Hidden Worlds was ONLY Cenote/Cavern/Cave diving and snorkeling. All the new features are in about the last two years so, sorry but I did not have the opportunity to do anything else.

Back then our alternate "Eco-entertainment" was AllTournative. and they too have changed siginificantly in the past few years as well offering new attaractions that they did not have before.

Hope this helps and BTW, have a BLAST!

No, it's not scary at all. There are bats way high up sometimes, but you'll only see them move if the guys flash a light on them.

Tim, I don't think they have a restaurant and they certainly don't have a bar. We heard that the ownership just partially changed, but it seems like business as usual, and they DID just donate $200 to the Bomberos! We really like Hidden Worlds.

The part that got me nervous were the small amount of space that were over your head. In other words, when looking up you could get claustrophobic feelings, but if you put your face down in the water you were invariably looking into a large space. At certain times you had only about a foot of space over your head because of hanging stalactities.

I also remember rather vividly thinking that should the earth move, given an earthquake or some other geologic event, this gigantic boulder over my head was going to trap us forever in the darkest and most inaccessible place on earth.

But scary, no. Have fun, it was still amazing. BTW, no fish at all, just incredibly clear cool water.

Oh, and there IS the part where you're in the 2nd cave & the guide turns off all the lights so you can experience absolute total darkness and after about 30 seconds you panic & wonder what would happen if the flashlight batteries died at just that very moment and then they turn the lights back on. Other that that, it's really cool.

Seriously, they don't snorkel in that cave or do that in the Ultimate Adventure Package, only in the regular Snorkel tour. The caves they go in in the package are not claustrophobic at all, because the "ceilings" are all very high.
