Pics of 3-Legged Race !!
Here's a few pics from last night. It was great fun, great people, and a great cause!!
The before pics... Edie (Mrs. Cheif Bombero) and Joe Colada  Jorge setting things up... (notice the buckets... we didn't need them!!)  Me, Sharon and Heather before the tie-up  Everyone had cameras!!!  Mr. and Mrs. Pet Shelter... Andy's getting a head start!  Miss Heather in her ride...  And her lovely caretaker Sara...  Even Rick and Susie showed up!  We all know this guy... smile Mark!  Anyone recognize these guys?

 Gee I wonder why...   And the winners - Carlos and Andy!!  Some more participants and random innocent bystanders... Where's the fire??   Jeanean and her daughter, Abra  Did I mention all the cameras?   I think the cameraman was getting a little loaded...

 is more like what he is used to from me. He knows I love him.

Awesome pics!
And great to see some folks on film that only turn out now and then to the "special occasions" - like PdS and David. The woman who ran with Jessica would be Soraya I think.......but don't take my word for it. Great times for a great cause I'd say- wish I could have been there. Well done everyone!!! Do we know yet how much money has been raised in total??

Great job everyone! The amount of money raised was unbelievable!
 I thought most everyone held up pretty well considering it's really 9 shots or 9 beers and not 7  I don't think I would be standing up to good after all that in 30 mins or less. Libby was star

Joana - it will probably take a while for the final tally of donations. But, I'll see if Brian is able to send me a grand total when he has one. I know that between In The Roo and playa.info/Playa Maya News the total was over $6400 US. I believe that is more than the previous two years combined. That's not even counting any additional donations from the Catamaya.
And, kudos to the corporate sponsors of Heather and Sara's team: Royal Palms Condos Blue Parrot Yucatan Explorer One Stop Real Estate Babe's Noodles and Bar Dirty Martini Lounge Heather, please chime in if I missed any. Thanks again to everyone for your support!
