For some reason I'm picturing Laverne and Shirley do Playa, and I'm sure as hell they'll pick up some Lenny and Squiggy's along the way......Helllooooooooooooo!

Hey Red, you and Mel may want to consider checking out the Whale Sharks.
I really don't know about trips from PDC, but there may be some. There are trips from Isla Mujeres and Holbox. July is prime season. A long day but I bet ya will have some fun.

BTW, can you suggest the best time to go to Cedar Point? Maybe when its not so packed.

Cedar Point is best early or late in the season. Prime summer months is packed. I like it in the Fall when they have "Hallo-weekends" and are open half days in October. Not as many lines, no humidity. Early spring is better than summer too.

See Ginger's to-do thread for me and Red's thoughts on Whale Sharks. Way too scary! I was afraid of the catfish at Cenote Azul.

Having grown up in Ohio and went to Cedar Point 2x year I can tell you this, the best strategy is to get there when it opens and hit the best rides first, starting wit the back of the park. Leave the kids at home and run like hell to the next ride. Magnum XL, Corkscrew and Gemini are my favs, along with Top Thrill Dragster. It's a must stop when I'm home, along with a trip to Kelly's Isalnd with Red!!

Well on mellies behalf...When we wanted to go dancing.....jenny had us all going iin the wrong direction....once agan no one would listen to me
until some local guy came up and pointed us in the right direction

But it was kinda fun trying to figure out where the heck we were supposed to go....then again after that many drinks everything is funny
