Mahahual After Hurricane Dean

In my wanderings online, I came across this non-commercial website that has been set up to get the word out that Mahahual is back up on its feet and open for business. There is a beautiful new malecon (pedestrian boardwalk) built and the beaches are wider than before.

I hope that if people know that Mahahual is ready and waiting for them, the tourists will come back quickly to this lovely Costa Maya town.

Thanks for that, Michele. John and I are wanting to take a brief getaway from Playa sometime real soon. Majahual is looking really good!

I have also sent Kevin Graham an email asking him to send us all some updated photos of the town. What I have seen online, just by Googling, looks great!!

Kevin is in the US for the next 2 weeks, but most business owners have come up with an association of hotels and restaurants and they have all kinds of good pictures
