Default Hechizo Culinary Enchantment in Tulum

Recently, I have been hearing some excellent reviews for a restaurant in Tulum, Hechizo. So, for Rob's 40th birthday, I made reservations. This is perhaps the best kept secret in Tulum if not the whole Riviera Maya. Read more HERE.

Wow! This place looks great! Is it all a fixed price, where you have to get an appetizer first, followed by dinner, then dessert etc? Or can you order things ala carte?

I want that goat cheese salad

Everything is a la carte and there are no "posted" prices. Chef Stefan does welcome you to inquire about pricing in his introductory presentation of the night's menu items. From all the information I have read $150 for 2 seems about what everyone has spent. A pricy bottle of wine will jack that up certainly.

¡Estoy embrujado por completo!

That's a great review, and it sounds like it was a lovely occasion as well.

Thanks for sharing.

Do they still open by season?

At this time in the season, they are moving toward a limited schedule...weekends only, I think. Their season runs mid-Novemeber through mid-May. Reservations are a must. Closed Mondays for sure.

It is well worth the trip!!
