Gringo Daves Question

Okay...all of my new friends here who have been so helpful....

Some people on another forum that I chat on (TripAdvisor) have been asking at Gringo Dave's. Ive never been there, but I've heard of it. They are saying that its closed. Is this true? Any help would be great so I can relay the message on to them! Thanx!

Gringo Dave's is in Puerto Aventuras, and I have to admit than in my 2 1/2 years here I have NEVER been to Puerto Aventuras. It's the only town along this coast I haven't visited. So, I don't know the answer to your question, but I have not heard anything about it being closed. Hopefully, someone else has a better answer for you.

Ahh, I wasnt sure where it was at. I went to Puerto Aventuras last year for Dolphin Discovery, but never noticed a place called Gringo Dave's so I didnt know where it was.

Maybe someone else knows?

Gringo Dave's is on the marina. According to my Mapchick map, (Can-Do Maps), after you entered Puerto Aventuras, you would have made a left turn to Dolphin Discovery. Gringo Dave's is to the right. Get the Riviera Maya map, and you'll be able to see exactly where it is. We haven't mapped out PA yet. It's enough just to keep up with Playa del Carmen for now!

We didn't manage to get to Puerto Aventuras this past trip but last year we spent a few hours at Gringo Daves' enjoying some adult refreshments.

I am very geographically challenged so all I can tell you is that we sat at Gringo Daves' looking southish and could see the Dolphin Discovery swim from there.

Perhaps someone from Paamul could give a better description than mine.
