Default Ziplining

Hi! Not sure if this was brought up here or not, so i am starting a new thread

I have read lot's of stuff in peoples trip reports about ziplining, and really want to do it! Anyone know how much it is, and where to go to do it? I know that there are tours that involve ziplining, and cenote dives, but i was more interested in just the ziplining without doing a tour.

Thanks for any info

No, you just want to do zip lining without a cenote!

BTW did ya see the sucker they caught at Cenote Azul recently?

Hidden Worlds Cenote Park has several ziplines. You can enjoy them as part of a tour, or you can just do the zipline for only $10 a ride.

I was wanting to do a zipline tour last year when we were in Puerto Vallarta. I couldn't get anyone interested. Now I have a friend who would like to zipline this year. So, thanks for asking the question.

Has anyone done any of the zipline tours through Hidden Worlds?

They have opened a new park just outside of the airport, near Cancun. Looks like an old quarry, and is easily accessible from the highway. No tour necessary, as you could hop a combi.

Cool! Thanks Libby, and Mark!! (not you amy) Ok, i would love to do the one at Hidden Worlds! Is there a fee to get into the park? Can i take the colectivo there? Is the ziplining close to Cenotes, where we can just wonder around, and take a dip if we wanted?

Sorry, so many questions! Trip is in 24 days, and i am looking to do a lot more adventurous things this time around

I am sure more questions are to come, like the best place to get a massage, and go parasailing, but i will save that for another thread!

There is no fee to get into the park. You can certainly take the colectivo there. It is right on the highway, on the west side, maybe about 30 miles south of Playa.

I think some of the ziplines may actually go over a cenote, but I don't think the $10 zipline ride gives you roaming rights over the park. I believe they have a cenote/zipline "tour". John and I have been meaning to go and check out all the new stuff at Hidden Worlds, but haven't had time yet.

You can email the park at Info@hiddenworlds.com. Cath and Chris there are very helpful, and they will be happy to answer all your questions.

Here you go Blah Blah Blah Ginger!

I think they have an advertisment on this site also - I seem to remember seeing some banner from them...

Thanking you, lovely laydee in the know! So I finally made it to the forum! Now let's see if I can figure it out...! We're really looking forward to seeing you and John down here soon!

Redhairgirl, I hope we'll have the pleasure of welcoming you soon too. We do have some pretty cool zip lines down here at Hidden Worlds, even if I say so myself! ...Seriously tummy-tickling Jungle Canopy Zip Lines and the very cool Cenote Splashdown Zip Line... Here is a link to more info: Jungle Canopy Zip Lines at Hidden Worlds, Yucatan Mexico Riviera Maya

If you're coming by colectivo, we're very easy to find - one and a half kms south of Xel-Ha on Highway 307 - we are well signposted and there's a big Hidden Worlds billboard outside so you can't miss us. Our welcome center is just a few steps from the highway and we'll take you into the jungle from there for your chosen adventure in one of our famous Jungle Buggies! hehehe

Our Ultimate Adventure Package gives you unlimited access to all our Zip Lines so you can do them as many times as you want, as well as our popular Cenote Rappel, the world’s only SkyCycle, and Snorkel Tours in some of the most exquisite cenotes in the Riviera Maya, all for one low ticket price.

Alternatively, as Libby says, if it’s just a quick fix zip kick you’re after, feel free to call in anytime and enjoy one of our Jungle Canopy Zip Lines at just $10 a time.

You're welcome to contact us directly if you have any further questions - we'll be happy to hear from you!

Saludos a todos!

By the way, Libby & John, the site rocks!
