Default Hotel recommendation in Tulum pueblo

My wife and kids are planning a trip to Tulum-Mahuhual this weekend. Can anyone recommend a decent, economical hotel with a/c in downtown Tulum for this weekend? Around $50 or so price range, maybe a little more if the hotel's worth it. I prefer something that's in town. I looked at the Hotel Acuario, has anyone stayed there? It looks OK, but I don't like the location because it's at the entrance to the ruins and a good hike to town. Thanks a lot!

Posadalunadelsur.com

Just stayed there on Saturday and Sunday. $65us with AC and a huge Cristal water jug in each room for your use. The place is very clean and secured.

Janet and Jack(the owners) will check you in, great place to stay.

For breakfast you gotta try Asafran (open at 9am), wonderful!

Michele, Claudia, and escaping, thanks so much for the info. They all look very good, I've passed this on to my wife.
