CEA Save Our Seas Festival - Akumal

Sorry for the late notice. I found this on another message board this morning and thought it might be of interest to some of the Roo Crew who are in town.

"The Centro Ecologico Akumal (CEA) will be holding its Third Annual "Save Our Seas Festival" on Wednesday and Thursday, February 20th & 21st. The two day festival includes activities for children and adults, highlighted with a silent auction. The festivities conclude with a gala dinner on Thursday, featuring entertainment by two wonderful singers, Karen Mercer and Karin ten Cate. followed by dancing. This year, an online auction will also be included, so that those of you who are not able to join us in Akumal can still participate!

New activities have been added recently, including fantastic performances by Veinte Varos, a group of Cirque du Soleil-type artists, on the beach at CEA from 11 AM–12 PM on Wednesday, and at 6:45 PM on Thursday.
