Tulum Car Rental agencies

Hello,

Any one ever used either Hertz or Executive Car Rentals in Tulum...online they seem to have the same rates as they do in Playa.

Never used them, but have known several that have used Hertz(Tulum) and had no problems. We get our car in PDC and head south. Only drawback i could possibly see would be they may not have as big of a selection down there??

We have never rented from anyone in Tulum. However, I can tell you that Executive shares their vehicles between locations. Last time we rented in Playa, with no prior reservation, they had a shortage of suburbans in town because much of their inventory had been sent to Merida for a big convention. I'd think that Tulum would have a decent selection, just book online before you arrive and you should have no problems.

For what it's worth, the Executive office is located just North of the city on Carretera Federal 307.

Reason I am renting in Tulum is because after a few days in Playa, I'll be 3 days in Tulum at a beach hotel doing nothing...so I want to avoid renting a car and leaving it parked for 3 days.
