Topless on the Beach
One of my favorite parts of going to Playa is the laid back relaxed feeling that consumes you.......and nothing really is better than finding a nice quiet respectful place on the beach and letting "the twins feel the sun"......I must say when we go to the beaches here at home its the one thing I miss the most......
 But I did not always feel this way when we first went to mexico back in 2000... I was in a little culture shock and there was not any way I would ever do such a thing no matter how much Michael begged  ....but after returning in 2005 and just letting the whole magic of Playa take over, I have found its just so relaxing to let the straps fly  .....but I have always made a point to be respectful for those around and find a nice quiet spot...I am not an exhibitionist by any means...I think thats why I love the beaches in Tulum so much.  I know how the guys feel  ...but I was wondering how the chicas feel?

It is a bit of a culture shock if you are not used to seeing all those bare breasts. I have no problems with it, and if it makes others feel free, go for it. Personally, I'm too self-conscious (and pale!) to unleash my girls to the sun.
 You know Streck is gonna open this thread and demand to know where the pics are?!

I love going topless on the beach. The other day at Xpu-ha I was topless in the water & looked down & thought for a second I had lost my top & then remembered I never had it on! I had to laugh to myself.
I knew I had finally totally relaxed about it one day a year or so ago when I was carrying on a long conversation with a waiter on the beach & had completely forgotten I was topless. To me, it feels nice to lay around & feel the sun almost everywhere on my body. ~Cheri

I go topless, but only in Tulum, or north at Coco Beach. I just don't want to do it where I might see people I know.
I love the feeling of just 'being free'....I don't do it to show off or anything. I mean, gravity and two kids has taken it's toll on me. I do it with/around my kids, they don't care. At least they didn't...that may be a different story this year with Jorden now that he is 12, we'll have to see. If he tells me it makes him uncomfortable, I'll cover up. I have noticed lately that he tells me to put a shirt on in no uncertain terms at home! "MOM! Cover those things up, will ya'?"

I will bare them on relatively unpopulated beaches, and we haven't been to many of those. I guess it was June 2000 when there were maybe 20 people on the beach at Mamitas that I last let the girls free.
 It's been too long and I'd better do it again before the girls get too long!Not exactly on topic, but I distinguish between Playa swimsuits and non Playa swimsuits. The non Playa swimsuits for suburban America pool parties cover more and utilize enhancing technology . Can't deal with all that hardware iand fabric in the Mexican heat. My Mexico swim suits are all about comfort and say "my boobs are small, get over it - I did"
