OK E!!!! Im not saying he isn't hurt, Im saying the drama of being carried out to a wheelchair was a bit over the top aka Hollywood style. Phil Jackson was laughing his ass off at the after game interview when asked about it. He said when pierce came back out he was barely limping. Hey....whatever works!!!! Just as long as they don't videotape signals......

Bottom line though is that the Lakers should have recovered and they didn't...know one to blame but themselves. Thats OK, they'll bounce back. They've had a tough time thier first road game in each of the prev. playoff series. They've done a good job containing Kobe this season....Kobe needs to figure things out....quickly....LOL

I saw where a few of the Celtics took note of Jackson judging/mocking PP. Garnett was PO'd. Prolly not a great idea to give the Celtics anything else to get fired up over. And in the interest of showing what good sports we Boston fans can be, I'm going to not rise to your "taping the signals" comment. Love ya, sideways!

Pierce has played that card before. Pretty dramatic if you ask me. How hurt was he really to come back and nail those back to back 3's?? Hum! I wonder. Anyhow, he killed the Lakers with those back to back treys. I'm just looking for a good series, but nothing will beat the Celtics/Lakers series of the 80's though.

You are 100% correct Mon Frer! Magic vs. Bird Does it get any better than that in the world of Hoops?

This rivalry has a totally different feel to it, not better, not worse. Fun though.

I can't wait for game 2 tonight. If the Celtics win again, it's good bye Lakers, I think.

This series might go 7 games. It's been a pattern these NBA playoffs of winning on the home court. I don't see the Celtics winning in LALA land.

[quote=Sideways;34472]Now see....thats just wrong!! You should always root for your conference!!! Where's A??? I'll have to tell her to whoop you good!

There is just no way possible for me to wish the Lakers success. That being said, from an objectionable point of view, the Lakers and the Celts are the two best teams of their conference so it should be a good show. Chris Bosh did interviews for the finals that are pretty funny check it out Chris Bosh Shows His Comedic Range, Gets Slapped By Kobe on National TV - FanHouse - AOL Sports Blog

The Celtics have had an amazing defensive team all season. They had an amazing night from some of the bench players--notably Leon Powe. Monster game from him! Great effort...until the fourth quarter. They scared me (and hopefully themselves) by almost letting the Lakers come all the way back, rather than finishing them, off. They must play all four quarters.

See yas all Tuesday night...at least the break between games is shorter this time.

Not so fast, mister! I'd prefer 3-1 after tomorrow!
