We are fine! We were never in harms way (at home anyway)...it would seem that Des Moines has seen the worst that it will see. Everyone south and east of us are now going to have it bad. From what we are being told, Cedar Falls (college town) and Cedar Rapids (close to U of I) are really in bad shape. CR is completely under water...I mean the whole town is flooded, the pictures are unreal.

Thanks for your concern guys, but we are doing fine, it is everyone else that is in trouble now...

My family lives in Ft. Madison, IA and they getting it pretty badly too. They said that the river there is supposed to crest over the 93 flood. It's so sad too. There were many houses right across (in Illinois)the bridge that got wiped out from that flood. I bet those people are just worried as can be.

My cousin owns a restaraunt in Cedar Falls, I guess it got flooded out too.

My thoughts are with everyone affected. It's amazing what water can do.
