Socks and birkis are not a glamorous fashion statement on anyone. I will confess, I've done it (with jeans, not a bathing suit). But the fact that I can wear shorts and birkis to work every day - now that's a thing of beauty!

I'll be the lone dissenter. I have absolutely no problem with a guy in a speedo. Maybe it is because I swam competitively for decades, but I really can't get worked up about it. What I can't figure out is the teeny tiney itsy bitsy cover the bits only bikinis. I mean, why bother? The dental floss stuff. I guess they wear them just to adhere to the letter of the law (against nudity) but otherwise, why?

No, I seriously mean, why bother? I would prefer nude. All the little bits of dental floss and itsy pieces of fabric are just so distracting. Get rid of them.
