Default Vancouver peeps, help

Hubby & I are descending on Vancouver June 28 -July 3 for a visit. We are staying in Maple Ridge & want to check some areas out. Ginger, can you let me know the best areas for the beaches in Whiterock, I would love to check them out, I was admiring your pics of that area. Here's the kicker, his chemo is limiting his walking so it's mostly driving around. Any ideas? Also, any neat restaurants for us to check out, we are foodies looking for neat places, no hoity-toity, down to earth & delicious. I haven't had a second to research anything out there, life's been insane, thus the little break. Thanks guys.

Hello from the burbs of Vancouver (Tsawwassen) if you have time we have a great beach called Centenial Beach located in Boundry Bay. Whiterock has some great beachs along the main drag with many many great little bestros and restraunts. We all here like Milestones but not sure how close one would be to where you are staying. Hope your hubby is getting well and hope you both enjoy your visit to our Wonderful city.

Hey Jackie, the main beach in White Rock is wonderful, well any beach in White Rock is great really. But Semiahmoo Bay is where the tide goes waaayyy out, so it's the most picturesque. white rock is pretty small really, so it's relatively easy to visit and see all the beaches here.

Please give me a ring if you are in the neighbourhood and we can meet for a coffee or something, there is a great little coffee shop right on the strip. I'll pm you my number! We are leaving the 31st early morning for Seattle, but any day before that I can meet you, would love to sit and chat with you guys again!

I will plan my days so we can have coffee with ya and have another visit. I just fell in love with the beaches you take pics of, that's why I want to see them....now if I could only take pics as good as you, I could make my own picturesque pictures. Oh well, my memory is good, I can always remember them.
Thanks for the tips Playa Love, I'm always looking for great beaches & restaurants, there is a Milestones not far from where we'll be staying.
