CMU Football 2008

CMU (Central Michigan University) 2 Time MAC Champions had there first game today against Eastern Illinois, and they won 31-12.


Well I don't think it was there best game ever, I was impressed by the Defence, which this year has alot of newbies, a rediculous amount actually, since so many seniors were on the D last year.


If the defence keeps getting better, I think it is possible that we may have a 3-peat this year!

Are you really a MAC fan Mofi?? I went to a MAC college myself, in Ohio no doubt, so I hate anything from Michigan?

My Brother plays there, so no I am not a MAC fan but I am definitely a CMU fan

After a beating by Georgia last week, although not as bad as one of their games two years ago, CMU came back to win their season opener in the MAC conference 31-28 against OU (Ohio).

Ohio started out very strong. Scored on both there first two positions which put them at 14-0. Finall LeFevour got things going and CMU scored 21 points with no response from Ohio.

It was pretty close at the end (31-28 for CMU) and I thought that OU might tie it up or win it, but the CMU defence managed to make the OU quarterback Boo Jackson fumble twice, and CMU recovered both times.

GO CMU GO- Mac Champs here we come!

Ohio U. had Ohio State down late.
OSU had to score to 4th Qtr TD's to pull that one out.
Ohio U. is a salty ballclub and much better than their record so far.
Good game for the Chippewas.
Just win...doesn't have to be pretty.

CMU has a very good team. Good luck to you guys the rest of the way. I hope they enjoyed their trip to Athens and UGA.
