Anniversary of M.C. massacre: Rojo Amanecer
Today, Oct. 2, 2008, marks the anniversary of the "massacre" of students and other activists in Mexico City during the Olympic Games in 1968 Coincidentally, my wife just turned me on to the movie "Rojo Amanecer" (Red Dawn), which depicts this important event in modern Mexican history. You can watch the movie, in Spanish, in its entirety on Youtube. Just search for the movie's title. I haven't had time to watch the whole thing yet, but I'm going to try this weekend. It's in 10 parts, here's the first part:
