Thanks to everyone for the sweet birthday wishes! We are getting settled in So Padre Island. It's not Playa, but it's a cool, kinda funky place that's definitely growing on us. We found a house that has been recently redecorated....new carpet, fresh paint and quite roomy that's about 300 yds from the beach. The beach is not as gorgeous as Playa, but there are lots of seashells on the shore, and I enjoy looking for unusual ones. We need to learn Spanish here, more than we needed to in Playa. Nolan is doing well in school and enjoying being with his friends. Life is good, but we miss all our friends. We'll be back there soon.....maybe March.

Hey Libby!! Actually, because we're so close to the beach, we wish it was tiled instead of carpeted, but there's a shower just outside our front door so we can wash the sand off. The day is gorgeous here today, and we're headed to the beach. Hope you all have a great Sunday in Paradise!
