Generally, web advertising bothers the hell out of me. This was so creative that I had to watch it twice. What do you think?

That was good!! Funny, my son was sitting on the floor next to me, and it caught his attention, and was watching, til he finally yelled "Mom, turn down the volume! it's one of the jokes they play on you where a scary face is gonna scream, and pop out the the screen!" I seriously panicked (Cause i hate those) and turned the volume down Then we both just felt stupid

Love that music ... so addictive ...

Actually my last foray into video games was Nintendo64. I was surprised to see that this is a "flat screen" format, with no 3d depth. Have video games walked away from that concept?

Nintendo has proven time and again that you don't need to do the most high tech games to be successful. The first time I saw their Wii Sports games, I thought the graphics looked like their were from the early 90's. However, people weren't playing those games for the graphics, they were playing them because of the new interaction the Wii controller provided. The Wii Sports games are probably the most popular games of the past 2 years.

As far as the 2D aspect of the game... you have at least 1, possibly 2 generations of gamers who grew up playing 2D games. Some of these gamers will play because the game is actually fun. Others will play just for the nostalgia. Win-win for Nintendo.

GREAT ad.

I prefer the 2D format of video games myself. Jorden has the Wii, Playstation 2, GameCube, AND his Xbox 360. He only plays the XBox now. I try to play with him, but those games he plays are too hard for me to get a hang of (6 buttons and shite!) and they actually kind of make me dizzy.

'Cept Rock Band. I LURRRVE Rock Band. The kids often trick me into playing that with them ("Just ONE song, mom!") and hours later I'm still there....
