Help me choose?

Kelsey is auditioning for a music video choreographer. It is for a couple of dances that are being choreographed for a music video and album release party for a young potential Disney star. She was recommended along with a few others from her studio to audition, and they are looking for great dancers, but who could pass for the 13-15 year old age range. Since she is just almost 14, she fits right in there.

So I had to take some photos of her for a "headshot" to go with her resume for the audition. I am having some trouble deciding which to use! They want two, but didn't specify anything else such as color vs. black and white, etc. So I need some help choosing! She is SOOO photogenic and beautiful it is hard for me to decide. She really wants to land this part as the party will have over 100 industry execs at it from Disney among others. So at the risk of sounding "look at me" yet again (I think I brag about my kids too much

funny, those are my two favorites also! I love the last one, it just says "I'm a teen" so well.

From the cutesy smile to the peace sign, to the writing on the back of her hand from school.

I like #2 and #5 best. That first black and white is beautiful and more serious/classic and 5 is in color with lots of energy and a great smile.

She looks fabulous in all of them; I can see how you would have a hard time choosing!

You know, that's a good point. It's probably best to have one more serious/classic and then another in color that has more "pop". Thanks, Mel!!

I love #2 as well! I just thought that for a Disney teen thing, color would go over better. Tough choice!

Leesa, I love them all! She is such a beautifull young lady. #'s 5, 6 & 8 are my favorites.

Plus, Disney seems to go for those kind of combinations: edgy/emo and cute/pop. She's got both looks down with the pictures you've taken. But really, that's just a bonus because talent will get her the rest of the way.

You can never brag too much about your kids!!!! I love them all but I'd go with a black & white & a color. 2 & 5 are my faves too!!

I lke the closeups..she looks younger in them. BTW..14??? where are the zits? I'm pissed..I still have them!

I would kill to have skin like that...only if it tans..ha ha

My favorite is Photo #2... there aren't any distrations in the background and the bokeh of that background is perfect for a submission.

My second favorite is Photo #5... but it's not in the same category as #2. I like the tonal quality which makes her look fresh and vibrant but the backround is too cluttered. I also like everything about her hair and I'd say the half smile is about perfect. Two things that distract are her bra strap and an angle of view that accents her belly.

One more negative, and then I'm done! In all of the photos, she has raccoon eyes. I'm guessing the sun was probably at high noon? In Photo #2 it actually enhances the shot. That one is a keeper!!

Sorry to be so critical but taking photos of women is one of my passions.
...and an occasional furry critter now and then is fun too.
