On Nov 30, 2008, FOX 4 photographer Cody Marcom captured a rare display involving Venus, Jupiter and the moon. The configuration is not expected again until Nov. 18, 2052. SideBar

The three brightest objects in the night sky -- Venus, Jupiter and a crescent moon -- get together tonight for a rare one.

Last night, Venus and Jupiter were separated in the sky only by about the width of a finger held out at arm's length.

Tonight, the planets will be joined by a crescent moon right next to them.

The lineup is visible even without a telescope or binoculars to anyone looking toward the southwestern sky around twilight.

On Sunday, FOX 4 photographer Cody Marcom snapped an image of the rare display, which reportedly won't happen again until Nov. 18, 2052.

Noticed that on the way home tonight - pretty cool.

Don't know why, but it reminded me about Einstein and his general theory of relativity. Had a long conversation about it with my car pool buddy on the way home.

I couldn't find it either plus my feet were really cold. I heard earlier that Australia is the best place to view it.

I think that it wasn't Jupiter and venus...but 2 UFO's and they stole our moon and took it to their galaxy!

Cloudy skies tonight in PDC. I would have liked to see that. Guess I'll have to wait until 2052, when we'll be able to control the weather and I won't be bothered by clouds if I don't want to be.
