I talk for my dog. Not to him, for him. It's a certain voice, I narrate his life and what he is saying at certain times. Wierd, yes...but funny. People laugh.

What you don't know about me...

I'm half Chinese.
My hubby & I have known each other since we were 14 (I'm 30 and he's holding onto 29...but not for long).
I curse too much.
I'm a social smoker (who needs to quit).
I'm stuck in the middle of a ridiculously ridiculous (yes, I said it that way) divorce...thanks to my in-laws...thank goodness it's them and not me.
I love, love, love, love, love sushi...it's an "I could eat it every day" kind of love.
I'm only 5' tall.
I have a tendency to be long-winded......there's more to me to know...but I'll stop here.

My hubby and I have been best friends since I was 17. We've been a couple since I was almost 19. (I'm 36).

I left home at 14 and have lived on my own ever since.

I've only been to Playa once...but other parts of Mexico 3 times. (but want to get back to Playa)

Okay here are a few things that you might not know about me...

I am an only child.

We have an in-law suite built into our house and my parents live with us. They live in the (lower level) basement... when we built the house we had it designed like an apartment with full living room, bedroom, bathroom, laundry room and large walkout sliding glass doors. We share the kitchen and eat dinner together most every night. It works very well. My kids love having their grandparents with them while we are at work.

I grew up on a horse farm and starting riding horses when I was 3. I even did some horse shows and won some ribbons.

Michael and I met when I was 18 and we have been a couple since I was 19 (I will be 40 this year)!

I ride a commuter bus to work. So easy and saves so much money now that gas prices are so high. I can close my eyes and take a nap on the way to and from work. I love it!

I used to be addicted to soap operas...General Hospital and Days of Our Lives were my favorites.

I have lived in Maryland my whole life.

Oh and my favorite color is blue.

I am not the only shorty here! I am 5 feet tall and have very long dark curly hair, which will be gone next summer when I donate 10 inches. It's for a good cause, it's for a good cause, it's for a good cause ... (haven't cut my hair hardly in 15 years - think Extreme Makeover.)

I am a big fan of the PGA. Any other golf fans out there?

At this point in my life, I openly admit that I am living vicariously through my kids' and their activities. On weekends I can either be found at a pool cheering loudly for my 12-year-old swimmer daughter (she's awesome by the way ) or at a hockey rink cheering (loudly of course) for my youngest on the rink. Just learned this past year that hockey is fun! I love these ages of my girls and wish it would last.

Keeping on that Asian note...I own two rice cookers -- can't cook rice worth a damn on the stove (yes, even Minute Rice) but I can cook a mean pot o' rice in the rice cooker.

Oh...and that half Chinese thing??? Well, that doesn't mean I can use chopsticks....I'm no good at it!

Hubby & I met on a summer league swim team way back when...we both grew up swimming and kept it up until we both graduated from high school.

Wow! Monica and Zoom we are really similar in many ways (and diff too). I will be 41 this April (you too zoom?!) and my beautiful wife of 13 years will be 40 this year (you to Monica?).

I met my wife on her 19th birthday, we dated for 8 years and then married.

We have 3 children Nick (12), Noah(9) and Emily(4).

I am 6'1"

I am a Special Education Teacher that works with children who have severe behavioral and/or emotional disorders (the naughty kids). I work on an Indian Reservation. The school has 100% Native kids so I live in another culture for the majority of my day...

My wife and I went to Playa for the first time 13 years ago on our Honeymoon and have been back about every other year since...about 7-8 times. It sure has changed!

I own and operate (on the side) a ticketbrokerage www.ticketthunder.com if you ever need tickets, let me know, I might be able to get you them...best to let me know BEFORE they go onsale and I can usually get you good seats at a good price.
