The only usefulness I've found with Facebook has been the ability to find old friends through contacts with existings friends. Other than that, I find the interface too confusing to be useful, and the amount of apps you need to "install" rather cumbersome. For me, the novelty wore off after 2 weeks of use.

I filter all my Facebook email into a separate folder and only periodically read it when I need a 5 minute time waster.

Out of curiosity, for what purpose do you use Facebook?

I can't keep up with it. I''m always getting sent drinks and quizzes and stuff and I get confused, there's just too much information, it's coming from all sides, I accept some things, read others, but then there's more and more...I don't know what to do!!! So I just log out and ignore it for awhile....

Facebook is a GREAT place to find friends....but yeah, I get these things sent to me - flowers, kisses, whatever, and then have to invite 20 friends to see who I got them from? That kind of sucks....but for finding friends, it's good.

On there as well- use it mainly to see what is up with all the "Mex-folks" as I call it. I like it, although I do not spend that much time on it.

All the applications really muddle things up. I primarily use it for it's original(I think) purpose. It's a great place to archive pics, think I've got like 15 full albums up

I have a Facebook and a MySpace...both have been great at helping me keep up with friends & family and also getting back in touch with friends I haven't seen or heard from in a long while.

Great, now I need to check my facebook emails and find out who owns me on a regular basis. As long as I get frequent virtual beers, it's all good.
