Going to re-enter life today!

I have been sick and home since Sunday Got the flu and it was a slam-dunk, knocked me on my arse!

But, I have got to get out of this house today, I can't spend another day here laying around watching countless hours of BravoTV and HGTV. I feel pretty good, not 100% but almost... but whatever I gotta make the escape! Wish me luck!!!


NOTE: 5 years ago I got a flu shot at work and that year came down with a terrible case of the flu, so I swore I wouldn't do that again. I have managed to avoid the flu the past 4 years, don't know how. Everyone in my family would be deathly ill, but not me.... this year, not so lucky.

Drink gallons and gallons of ginger ale -- diet or regular, doesn't matter.
It always works like a charm for me against colds and the like.

Stay hydrated! Lots and lots of water and if your body wants you back on your arse in a while, listen to it! Hope you're feelin' better soon!

Believe me, I know the feeling. Been laid up since the 14th. tried a RE-entry to work on Thursday and they sent me home. I went to Hobby Lobby 1s thing this morning for some painting supplies and had to stop 3 times on my way to the back of the store where they keep the goods I need. Home now and I think I'll take a nap!

Good LuckI am glad to see your feeling good enough to get out, just take your time. You might find you loose your breath and get dizzy. Just be easy on yourself for a few days.

Well, my day out went well. It felt so good to breathe fresh air! I took my son out to get a birthday gift for his girlfriend and then my hubby and I went out to dinner. I'm home now and feel pretty good!

Oh, and I drank plenty of water!

Glad to hear you are feeling better. Keep on with the water. I got the flu shot this year, I was so sick for a week afterwards. I swore I would never do it again. Now, I have had so many friends that have gotten the flu this year glad to hear you are on the road to recovery. don't over do it
