Default Pics of everthing Christmas and New Years...Kiddos, decorations, etc.

So you know this is my favorite time of year and you know I take tons of pics of everything, especially Mack and Marissa.

So everyone post your pics of your holiday celebrations...your kids...snow pics...whatever you want to share!

First I'll start with our tree...not as big as last year...but it smells so good having a real tree in the house.

Marissa decorating.

Special ornaments my grandfather made...they are very old and some even have pictures on them...like this one of me with Mom and Dad.

I will put up some more pics of my decorations later.

So let's see your holiday spirit!!!

Here is a few snow pics of Marissa sleigh riding when we got snow a few weeks ago...unfortunately it all melted so there will be no white Christmas for us this year.

Great tree Monica! I have some very old ornaments that belonged to my great grandmother. Because of the cats I just am not able to but them on the tree anymore.

Thanks Karen!

My grandfather made so many of these ornaments...he was Italian and had large hands...to this day I don't know how he managed to make these with all the small pins and detail...we have two large containers filled with them...way too many to put on the tree. But I figure when the kiddos get married and have their own families I will give some to them for their trees.

Default Trees and Music

Thanks for the pics of your tree. Libby and I haven't had one in a few years because we have been spending our Christmases up North in Chicago.

Putting up the tree (we always did a fake tree) was usually our get-in-the-Christmas spirit time... We'd listen to Christmas songs (Christmas parodies, actually) while I put up the tree and Libby shopped on Amazon. Ah... good times. Well, except the one year where we put up the tree on the 21st, never bothered to decorate it, and took it down on the 26th.

That is a funny story John! Will you be in Chicago again this year? One thing for sure is that I guess most of the time you can count on a white Christmas in Chicago. We haven't had a white Christmas in many years...I think my son was 3 or 4 and now he is 11!

Hope you and Libby have a great Christmas!!

Okay on with the pics...here are a few pics from inside our home.

I have a small collection of snowglobes...I would buy more but I have no place to put them!

My snow village...again I have more houses but limited room to display them...so I put different ones out each year!

I also love angels...here are two of mine.

Our other tree is in the basement...not real...but it displays Ravens ornaments and kid's ornaments.

And yes I have Ravens Christmas decorations too!

And lastly our fireplace..my favorite part of the house!

Okay that's mine...anyone got any palm trees with lights on them they want to post?

Thanks Shirlee. My mom gets tears in her eyes every Christmas when we pull out the ornaments.

Looking forward to seeing your pics.
