Toxic Flip Flops

Dealing with walmart is like pulling teeth. BTW, her feet were not too cute to begin with. She should not wear flip flops or sandals with those ugly toes. Just my opinion.
I haven't worn flip flops in years, I just don't like having that thing between my toes. I think I will try to find a pair that won't bother me and try to get used to them before my next trip.

Another thing about Walmart. I have been wanting to buy a couple of patio loungers. I kept waiting for them to go on sale after the summer season and they never did. Mind you, I checked the price everytime I went. They are in the outdoor section of the store where they keep the plants. That same stack of loungers are still sitting there. Even though they are under a roof, they are still exposed to the wind and rain and temperatures, since there is no wall but a chain link fence. People will think they are buying new chairs this spring, probably for a higher price, when in fact, they are over a year old.

Wow! That is just horrible. Holy cow! I thought the first picture was bad and by the time I scrolled down the page...........I about lost my dinner. Looked extremely painful.

I think I would go after the company who made those and put them out to the public......I mean that is just brutal to look at......Can't imagine what is must have been like to deal with that......

Spewed my red wine when I read that. Was thinking the same thing. But can you imagine wearing closed shoes in Playa...most people aren't looking at feet anyway. (I do though )

I can't wear flat rubber flip flops, getting too old and need more support. Going barefoot is more comfortable. They aren't cute true flip flops, but try Clarks, Privos, Merilatts, Born, etc. Pricey compared to the bin ones, but they last. And if they make your feet look reptilian, maybe someone will listen.

Well, she won't be able to go after the company in China. Service via letters Rogatory is a real pain in the ass, assuming China is even a signatory to the Hague Convention on Service Abroad. I once had to sue Saudi Aramco on an unpaid commercial invoice of about $150K via letters Rogatory and it took months. I *DID* get them to pay in full by keeping a Saudi royal prince (and executive) tied up on a telephonic deposition long enough to jeopardize his tee time.



Anyway, the lady is going to have to look solely to Wal Mart. If she survives summary judgment proceedings, I suspect she will have a lot of sympathy with a jury, depending on the venue.




Its just too bad that all personal injury lawyer are evil, and that all personal injury victims are lying crooks just trying to get rich for nothing, just like this lady.

Ok... how did she manage to take pictures of her feet for 2 weeks before making a doctors appointment? Her taking pictures indicates that she probably knew something was seriously wrong...

Still, that's pretty messed up.

problem. Walmart has the best lawyers. They are hard to beat cause the case never gets before a jury. Me thinks they pay off the judges.... at least one case that I know of.

I was at Walmart 2 days ago. Those flip-flops were not present. I guess they got the message.
