Bankie Banx, "Big Chief"
I spent an afternoon with Bankie in Anguilla at his home "The Dune Preserve"
and did some artwork for him. "Chariots of Fire" incredible album IMHO!

I love the Stones. I love this song...this video is disturbing and haunting...
Pleasure & pain, all in one. The lesser of two evils?
I guess that we were a screwed up generation too. And we like to talk about how screwed up some our youth is today. We must be getting old.
I have so much empathy for our young ones, they too have their struggles just like we did.

Don't want this thread going to page 2.

Another Mandy Moore vid. This time, a cover of Rhianna's "Umbrella". Sometimes a great song actually does make it's way to the top 10, and this is a really good cover.

So...if you had to pick 5 songs that you couldn't live without, (older and/or newer, any genres) which ones would you choose?

Thanks guys! Looking forward to hearing from you.

These are great Smaugh! I hadn't thought of some of these songs...which I really like. Thanks!

They actually won two Grammys....I love them too! I saw them with my husband in Worcester, MA the other night. Fantastic show. They were talking and joking about the two Grammys during the show. They were genuinely excited to have won not one but two awards. Dave Grohl is a god of a frontman and musician.

Pre-Nirvana, Dave Grohl was a Washington DC punk icon. He played with a bunch of local groups and was a fixture on the scene. Even after he became bigtime, he still would show up at places like the Black Cat, 9:30 Club and Galaxy Hut. I once helped him pick out some cigars and a lighter for his dad for Father's Day. My coworkers (I only worked there part time, for some extra cash and the freebies) couldn't understand why I wanted to serve that specific customer, so badly. He was as nice in person as he seems.
