I need to learn to tweak, then. I'm lucky my pictures aren't blurry.

Sorry Monica, But O&L's has closed in that location, condos or somthin' going in. The rest has located to the Soliman bay entrance on the jungle side of 307. Sorry you missed it. I loved to chill in a hammock with a cold beer on a hot day.

The big appeal of the place was its waterside location in that grove of coconut palms!

Say it isn't so?? That would suck. Crappy location now and probably still the same overpriced food I'll bet.

It's SO. Who wants to sit under that big palapa on the WEST side of 307?? Not me! We ended up driving into Tulum and ate at Ana y Jose's. Nice palapa there too with a good view ~ just not quite as nice as the former setting at Oscar y Lalos, though. We were wondering if they sold the property for yet ANOTHER humongous AI resort along the coastline....

JUST found this blurb about the location change..... OSCAR Y LALOS CHANGES LOCATIONS

Mike and I won't be eating there any longer.

That's a good bet for sure. What would suck more is that they would move alot of the vegeatation to make a better beach and disturb nature. That just stinks!! I wonder how their business has been since the move. I know when we've been there it has never been really busy, so can't really blame them for selling if that's what happened and they got a good price. $$$ rules everywhere it appears

Here's a pic I took of Playa Norte, Isla Mujeres, a couple of weeks ago.

I also took this one on Isla Mujeres. Notice the name of the ship: "Southern Comfort". When I saw it, it reminded me of an old Buffet album cover.
