Talking Top ten girl films of all time

Ok, i'm sick and tired of all you guys getting "Your own little thread" So what do ya say girls? What are some chick flicks that make you cry, laugh, scream outloud, drool over, and just are great kick ass chick flicks?

I loved the notebook. That love scene is one of the best love scenes since Bram Stokers Dracula I swear i could watch it over and over again I am also a sucker for "Maid in Manhattan", or any other Jlo movie.

I have lot's more that i can think of as well!

OK well I'm only going to speak for myself. These are the movies I watch when Sr. Yason is out of town. I crack a bottle of wine light a few candles and curl up on the couch. Oh and BTW, I don't like chocolate.

The ones that come to mind are:

Mediterraneo
Henry V (1989 Kenneth Branagh version)
A Room With A View
Office Space
A Little Princess (1995 Alfanso Cuaron version)
Being There
Moulin Rouge
Dances With Wolves
Cyrano De Bergerac (1950 w. Jose Ferrer)

As far as Terms of Endearment, i get teary eyed just thinking about it. I think it is possibly one of the best films ever written, directed, and produced!

Being a misfit chick, I'm not sure how to define "chick flick".
But here are ones that have me reaching for the kleenex or wine; and/or that I can use as a discussion point with my girls; and/or send a little frisson of sexiness down my spine:

The Sound of Music (the folk dance with Christopher Plummer & Julie Andrews -- mmmmm)
Il Postino
Wifemistress
Fred and Ginger
The Little Mermaid
Camille Claudel
Terms of Endearment
Freaky Friday (with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsey Lohan)
Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon
Rent

I just recently bought this movie for my daughter. I loved it as a kid. I don't think she's watched it, I've watched it at least 6 times in the last month.

A Room with a View (a field of wheat, Julian Sands...)
Gladiator (not exactly a chick flick, but c'mon!)
Three Amigos
The Outsiders
Elf (don't ask!)
Titanic
Raising Arizona
Anne of Green Gables
Love Actually (that montage at the end always gets me weepy, especially around Christmas )

*I just noticed there is no crying emoticon, so I had to use the more psycho version, sad banana.
