I posted in the wrong Irish thread. Oops.

Well, I don't have to tell anyone who knows me well that I have a wee bit 'o the Irish in me blood. When I was a "wee one" and my Irish grandma would still come to visit, she used to tell my family that she could see a lot of the Irish in me already, in that I wouldn't back down from anything, and that I was feisty enough to wear that red hair.

I remember she would tell me this rhyme:

Leprechaun, leprechaun, fly across the sea
And fetch an emerald shamrock for you and me.
Do not bring a nettle or a thistle for a joke,
But bring an Irish shamrock, for we are Irish folk.
And you and I, my leprechaun, will wear the shamrock gay,
And match it with an Irish smile upon St. Patrick's Day!

and she always said to us when she left:

May you be in heaven a half an hour before the devil knows your dead.

Not likely. I believe Ginger's user name was chosen because of her hair color. Red is one color. Ginger is another color. They could never be confused, except by a guy wearing bulky boxer swim trunks and a baseball cap.
