I've thought this was North Carolina's year all season.
I see Kansas, Texas and UCLA as well. But WHO is going to be this year's George Mason? Anyone? I have a feeling the kid from UCLA will struggle early in Tourney, but settle in. NC beats UCLA. (Although I think Texas has a shot being as the only team with a handle on how to play them is Kansas, and if Texas takes care of the ball and hits their free throws they can beat anyone). MY human interest story this year comes out of the Univ. of San Diego, who knocked off Gonzaga in the Conference Tourney (I'm NOT a fan of a Conference Tourney Champ getting an automatic entry at ALL). Toreros' Freshman Rob Jones. Check him out. |

I don't know much about the NCAA, but Adam, John said to say to you that he can't remember what your team was called again, the Iowa Weenie-hounds or something??

W. Kentucky vs. Drake...
Oops...need Drake to win this one... WKU hitting 61% from the floor and 7-16 from 3-pt land... With ZERO Free Throw attempts, while Drake is 13-16. IF WKU has a cold spell from outside, and if the score tightens up, it could just be that Drake will win it at the line... And I thought the higher seed spread upset might be Sienna vs. Vandy.
My picks are droppin like flies! Don't know if the ole ticker can make it thru this madness. Woo-Hoo, K.Sate!! (Go Big 12) and WOW- that Duke game, what can ya say?
I can say they were lucky to win, seems to me a couple of fouls were conviently ignored in the last 20 seconds, oh well, I did have them picked, it just seemed a shame for Belmont to not win that game... Thanks for rooting for Xavier Zoom! |
