Okay! So, this wasn't of my day, today. But Friday I drove to St. Louis and hung out with my of my friends. Saturday we had FRONT ROW tickets to the Dave Matthews show

NICE, moondollar!
 I took photos of my nephew's wedding a couple weekends ago. Now, should I be totally pissed off that when he and his new wife got up at the end of the day to thank people for helping out, like their parents, their friend for doing the cake, their friend for doing the music, the MC, etc. they couldn't find it in their hearts to thank ME for spending the whole day taking their photos (and the next week editing them) for FREE!!!  I guess I should be thankful tho for the experience, I've only done one other wedding, and this one was a great experience to get some shots for myportfolio as they WERE a fantastically beautiful couple. So can I show off a little? Here's a some photos of the ungratefuls....      the bride and her sister:    I went a little stylized with this one, she may not like it:  but I'm sure this one will make up for it:  ok, I'll bore you with just two more:

Ginger--those wedding photos are wonderful.
And I agree, how awful that they did not include you in their thank you. Are you planning any little  revenge.I know I would but that's just the type of person I am.  Nora

Ginger- Those wedding photos are unreal! Gosh...and free??!!??-what a priceless gift. You got some talent
Where were u when I got married? If you took my photos for free, I would have given u a huge thank you and a reason to travel to Mexico for the ceremony! Look you could have been here...taking this photo...  Upon returning home from our MX wedding, we had a nice big reception at home and one of my friends insisted on making my wedding cake for free--I was soooo appreciative!  I put her business cards next to the cake and made a huge stink about her creativeness and time she took to do it! Look at this cake! It matched the dresses perfect and she put real shells on the cake- some shells were from our trip to Cozumel! Since we are showing off photos...I cant resist to share my photo of my baby Belle! Shes my special needs, deaf kitty who got caught in the act of a big yawn!!  (its almost scary...huh?)

Last weekend we took Marissa out to pick out a new bike
....sort of a graduation present for finishing pre-school...but really it was time for a new one since she has outgrown her other bike anyway! Here she is with her Malibu Island Cruiser.   Love the fenders and whitewall tires.   She loves to go fast and stand up!!

Oh Monica, there is nothing so special as the smile on a child's face who is riding a new bicycle!!!
What a great bike! I want one of those. I was eyeing one up in the bike store the other day, but JOhn thinks I need a mountain bike like the rest of them.  How does she like it?? I think I'm going to override the mountain bike and go with one of those ones!We just bought Kelsey and Jorden new bikes. Kelsey's was a pretty standard mountain bike, but Jorden's was anything but. His cost a tidy penny, but he had saved $300 of his own money to throw in. We figured it was something that was serving as exercise, and freedom as well. He's spent everyday since he got it at the bike park riding the trails and jumps since with his buddies! He is in his glory, and that makes up for any money spent, that's for sure. HEre's his new bike:
