Which island(s) did you live on?

I was born in Anacortes on Fidalgo Island, lived there for 16 years, still have family in the area. Seems most my childhood was spent on a boat or playing in the muck at low tide - loved it! Of course I didn't appreciate it so much my teenage years, just seemed like a boring small town to be stuck in! As an adult I realize just how furtunate I was to live in such A beautiful place with tons to do and appreciate. My children adopted a couple of whales in the J-pod so we'll be making a trip soon to see if we can spot any of them! The San Juans will always be one of my top favorite places!!
