Congrats Greg!! I enjoyed your video!! Even though it made me sad that I'll have to wait 9 weeks until I can go diving again in Playa.
![]() Where did you dive? And what camera did you use? |

Wow! Awesome slideshow Greg! Yep, there is that Cenote Azul where i was afraid of the catfish
Did you prefer the diving in the ocean, or the cenotes? Come on now, weren't you just a lil afraid of that cenote? I mean there are so many more nooks and crannies than the wide open sea. That's what freaked me out.But glad ya did it, and i can't wait to try it someday! I also can't wait to meet Paulo

Terry! Thanks! Love your pics too!!! Yeah...I really enjoyed this experience, made much more memorable with Paulo's teaching style and easy going personality.
Vanessa!!! OK...you were right...all along... at some point we are going to have to be dive buddies! As far as Cam...I used a cheapy $20 cam.. But...that WILL change now....Nothing worse than losing the experience and memories to a crappy camera ![]() Rach...thanks Darling! Mind you...rumor has it that there are some class "A" cenote pics out there in your possesion....maybe we'll get to see them????Wilma..... Cenote's are easy If you want to try diving... we'll get you hooked up and dialed in.... OH!! I think we spotted the Killer Catfish.....

Very nice show....I did the open water referral in Cancun in Feb, with a small dive shop, Nautilus Diving and Training center.....Octavio lives in Playa, and commutes.....to the Cancun Clipper Club......(on Trip Advisor, they rate as the #2 attraction in Cancun, due to great reviews because they do a great job) Can't beat the clarity and warmth of the Blue Caribe!
This just north of Punta Cancun.....

But like with anything, I guess it's a case of you get what you pay for yeah? Congrats on your OWC! Have you been diving at home? I'm getting ready to get outfitted, so I can start here at home.....

Hey Greg wanted to throw another choice out there at you.......Like you don't have enough already.......I have one of these set-ups for my Panasonic........You would want to get the underwater housing as small as you could for travel but check this site out......The either have or will build a housing to fit whatever DVC you may have but the best thing to do is go with a camera that they already have a housing for.......
Equinox Underwater Video Housings for Sony, Canon and Panasonic cameras - by WNRS And of course you will need a travel case for it......One with wheels and a handle that extends....... Welcome to www.pelican.com Pelican? Products - Manufacturer of high-impact, watertight equipment Protector? Cases and safety approved, technically advanced flashlights I think eventually you will need one digital camera and one DVC..........Just the nature of the beast...... Good Luck in your search.....I have ended up with three underwater set-ups.........And will be putting one of them in Erica's hands in July..........
