Hey Beth & Scott - love the pictures from bath day. Looks like lots of people showed up which is great. I wonder if that many show up each bath day? Thanks for the great report and even though I know who your uninvited guest was ... I'm anxious to hear more!

Around 5AM I got up to use the bathroom (separate from the casita). I used a flashlight to find my way around. Upon returning to the casita in the gardens I spotted a huge jungle crab in front of me, running from the bright light of my flashlight- he ran for the darkest area he could find---which happened to be the casita we were sleeping in
 . I had left the door open! Scott scrambled and caught the guy and put him back amongst his friends awaiting him in the bushes of the jungle ! These crabs are more scared of us then them —but still, we didn’t want to sleep with it!   I will put more photos up SOON! More Punta Allen and Paamul photos coming….

All in all, we were sooo happy with our stay at Serinadad Shardon and the owner, Niki was an excellent hostess
 . We hope to return someday! Punta Allen had beautiful weather during our short stay- even though it seemed a bit hot at times . I spent most of the time sun bathing or swimming in the sea of warm bath water. Scott fly-fished in his waking hours in Punta Allen and did have good luck. When Scott wasn’t fly-fishing, he could be found napping in the hammock !      Cuzan is next door; the restaurant-outdoor bar was nice, yet I preferred the beach, seclusion and the gardens of Serinadad Shardon better . The two are next-door neighbors, which made it convenient to grab a bite to eat. Cuzan cabanas  Eating breakfast at Cuzan  Cuzan's beach

The gardens at Serinadad Shardon are just breathtaking…
 w/ much attention paid to detail…    Niki's House on the premisis  Moon decoration on the porch of the casita  Punta Allen is a great escape from it all… A little boy having fun..  A truck advertising Punta Allen…  (cute) One of the few general stores  Girls playing  Streets of sand...

Great pictures of Punta Allen. It looks very laid back and beautiful. In all of our many travels to Mexico, we have never made it to Punta Allen although we did go to Belize once. Great T.R. Beth ... is there more???

You really are making me want to go to Punta Allen...I just can't seem to drag myself away from the beach that long.....but the quietness and charm is calling to me. Keep it coming!
