Hey Susan. We finally made it back. FINALLY! The drive back was pretty easy, 99% of the roads were excellent (we came back the same way we went but most construction is complete and pot holes now filled). Crossed the border on Monday night, ended up staying in Brownsville for the night (we wanted to drive all the way through to Dallas but too tired!), stopped in San Marcos for a little shopping at the outlet mall then made it to Dallas 10pm on Tuesday night. I could sleep for days!

I am so relieved to hear from you! I just sent you an email too. I just read a news article about a family from Waxahachie that drove off an unfinished bridge near the border in Mexico into a river and drowned. The bridge wasn't blocked or marked as unfinished. We're going to have to get your route assuming we get to make the drive one day. I have been thinking about ways to try to make the move happen sooner rather than later! Get some rest.
