Our diving adventure is done, so Stewart and I walk back up 12th towards my hotel and his condo. As we pass Pizza Pazza we both realize how hungry we are, but we are waiting to hit Kool and order lunch from there (sushi....yum). Mmm...but the shrimp pizza is too hard to resist and Stewart grabs a slice. He offers me up a corner and I think I'm instantly in love. I've never had this one before.
Back at the hotel, I drop off some stuff, grab some more stuff and walk around the corner to Stew's Condo. Being lazy asses, we decide to grab a taxi to Kool. What a wonderful feeling to walk up and see KelliG and the Houston Gang, Kim and Kenny, Kathleen (who is waiting for Brent), and Penny and Jason. They saved us chairs in the front row! Picture stealing from Kim again... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Jason and I chat a little about diving and Brent walks up with beer in hand. Hey wait! Did you bring enough for the whole group?!! We chat about our dive and he proclaims that I?m a **cking natural at diving and of course, this brings a smile to my face! Kim and I head for the water to do some body surfing and to chat a bit. The waves are much calmer this day then the other day we were screaming and laughing. Out of the water, and I'm ready for lunch. While looking at the limited menu, I forget all about the sushi that we were going to order and opt for tacos (?). The alcohol ban is in effect all day, so no margaritas on the beach for me. A short time later, I look over and Stewart is being served sushi! That's right! Sushi! Last November, when were here at the same time, Stewart and I had sushi at Kool. It was so good then and I was really looking forward to it this time to. But, in my hunger, I forgot to ask for the full menu. Stewart was smart. I walk over and weasel my way into getting him to share a few bites with me. I walk back to my chair and realize that the sun is really bearing down on me. I pull my chair into the shade and attempt to read a bit, but I'm overheating and I'm tired. I've been at Kool for about 1 1/2 hours by now and I realized that I need to be indoors and napping. I'm tired. Diving wears me out and I have a loooong night ahead of me. Stewart is feeling sleepy too, so we walk back together. A short time later, I'm crashed out in bed and having a beautiful sleep. I wake up a bit disoriented from sleeping so hard, but quickly hit the shower and I'm wide awake. I have a little time to kill before dinner, so I wander over to the internet cafe to check email and the boards. As I'm scrolling the main forum page, something towards the bottom quickly catches my eye. One sentence that says "I'm mad at Vanessa". From this page, I cannot see who the poster is. OMG! What the hell did I do and who did I do it too??? I click on the link and it's at this point that the computers at Noah's Zoo decide to freeze up. It takes a good 5 minutes and a lot of panic on my part to finally open the link and find that Daddy B is having trouble dealing with my diving skills. It appears that no heroics were needed on his part during my dive that day and I?m costing him a precious opportunity to show off. I take a moment to text Daddy B to let him know what I think of him for starting a thread with such a title that had me doing a small freakout. With a small grin on my face, I walk back to my hotel, finish getting ready, gather up Heather's pressies and walk over to the new HC on Constituyentes. Heather, Micheal, Kenny, Kim, Bobster, and Penny are there. I present Heather with her pressies and she shows no modesty at all with showing them off. I have much love for this gal! ![]() A short time later, Stewart and the Houston gang show up and Heather is presented with her Ipod. A gift from several friends. I'm not sure, but as she is trying to hold back tears, a few escape. We love you Heather! ![]()

I translated the menu for Kool. That was a chore, believe me. They use a lot of ingredients I had never heard of. The names were originally in Spanish, and I had to Google photos to see what the hell they were talking about.
![]() Almost a year later, I am waiting for my compensation (which was going to be in t-shirts and coupons, because the guy who asked me to do it was a student).

![]() Thanks Tappy. I'm going to try and finish this one this weekend. If I do, it'll be the first TR that I've ever finished.

Thanks for taking the time to sharing your photos and experiences, you are a wonderful story teller. Most trip reports leave me wishing for either more photos or more details - definately not the case here. I think I can safely say this is the best trip report I've ever read, can't wait to read the rest of it!!
