When Shanda came down we had to have one Serita B Careful (sp?), at the prodding of Genero, and then off to Dr. Tacos for the best shrimp tacos in town! It was incredible as usual. Then over to the Tequilla Barrel to meet up with our friends from home. After sitting a the TB for awhile we took a taxi to Luna Blue to show them the hotel and have a drink at the Blue. 4 Serita B Carefuls por favor..... Then a walk down 5th with the women going in and out of MANY shops. "Hey man, let me show you my junk!"...."Cuban Cigars?"....." Take a look at my pipes.".... "You want the good stuff?" Oh the sites, the sounds, the smells, and it was fun to interact with all the characters of 5th. I love it!!

Friday we woke up and our friends from home arrived at Luna Blue and we walked down to Mamitas.

I ordered breakfast, an omlet and an order of chilaquiles. My eyes were bigger than my stomach...Shanda had to help eat it all. Which worked out well because I had forgot to ask her if she wanted anything when I ordered. After breakfast we just laid in the sun until lunch.

Then we walked up to Mamitas restaurant and orderd an order of nachos and a order quesadillas per couple. Way to much food! But somehow we managed to eat it all. After lunch we decided that we needed a break from the sun so we walked down to Natz Ti Ha to see our freinds that winter in Playa. As usual they rolled out the red carpet and made us feel at home. Almost impossible to leave there without having some food or drink, but since I was in the mood for some wine I hiked up the street to the off sale for a couple of bottles of wine. Late afternoon we went back to Luna Blue and said good-bye to our freinds as they were leaving early the next morning. After cleaning up we went down to The Blue for "socail hour" as that seems to be where everybody gathers before the night's events. We had decided to eat at La Pummarola, we absolutly love the food there!!!! As we were sitting around we started to talk to Michael and Monica and it turned out that they were going to eat with Tony and Cheri and that T & C had picked La Pummarola as the place to go. Shanda and I headed to the restaurant where we planned on spending much of the evening.

As soon as we sat down the waiter brought an appetizer that we think was italian sausage wrapped in bread, very good. Then we ordered some bruschetta, fantastic as usual! I think I have already said this once in this report but the bread here is to DIE for! Some good wine to compliment the food and we were ready to get the main course. I ordered tortellini and Shanda order cheese ravioli. Both were GREAT! About then Tony, Cheri, Michael, and Monica arrived. Everybody waved and said hi, but we did not want to impose on thier dinner together so we kept to ourselves. Back to the eating and drinking!!!! As if we were not full enough we decided to have desert. I think it was some kind of tiramisu cake, what ever it was, it was par for the course. This left me feeling like the fat guy that explodes in Monty Python's "The Mening of Life". But somehow I found room for the rest of my wine and the after dinner shot that comes as part of the meal. It is like a lemon liquor, and rumor has it that is made with Everclear. Wooohoooo! As we left, we said goodevening to T & C and M & M, heading back to Luna Blue as we could barely move. It became aparrent that all we wanted to do was go to bed after stuffing ourselves for nearly 2.5 hours. It was a great evening.

Saturday morning we walked down to Hot to have breakfast. After we sat down we noticed that Silvergirl and her traveling compainions we eating right next to us. (I'm sorry I don't remember their names) After that we headed back to Mamitas until about 2 pm. We cleaned up at Luna Blue and then walked down 5th to make our way towards Bad Boys.

Along the way we stopped at Pizza Pazza for a bite and then continued on to the party. When we got to Bad Boys we grabbed 2 seats at the bar and waited for everyone to arrive.

Up next..... The pictures of the Party at Bad Boys!!!!
