ANOTHER week of fun
March 5, 2008.
Got on a plane and flew to Cancun airport. Only 42 passengers, plenty of room to spread out. It was dark when we landed. No lines for immigration, got a red light in customs, out the door in 15 minutes. Found our transfer and headed straight for our hotel. We checked in, did a quick change and freshen up, grabbed my fan, my friends and headed to La Rana. Barry (popeye) and Phyllis presented me with a beautiful Crystal and clock for my birthday.   Got to meet Craig and Pat and a bunch of others. I don't want to leave any names out..you know who you are. I also got to see my old amigo Joe and I had a little something for him. We were hungry, so we ran around the corner to get a quick bite at dr.taco. Yummy. Me and Evelyn had to get up early for the Catamaya in the morning and it had been a long day, so back to the hotel for some sleep. Btw, we stayed at the Pension San Juan and it was pretty darn good. I loved the big cold water cooler outside our door.

march 6th
Damn, somebody is waking me up and it's early. Ok, I drag myself out of bed, get my stuff for the snorkel trip, go upstairs to see the nice patio and drink some coffee and then me and Evelyn head down towards our pick-up. OH NO! the trip has been cancled due to the winds and waves. oh well, I guess I won't get sea sick. Maybe we will try again later in the week. We went back to the hotel to get Brenda and Laura. We all headed down to El Pirata for a day of sun and fun on the beach. Hey!!! who parked that damn boat blocking my view?  I decided to take pics of men in speedos.   Brenda and Laura  oops..speedo sighting  the water was rough, only went in once and that was enough for us that day. Now we need to decide what time we are going to dinner. We went to HC monterreys. It was good, but somehow not as great as I remember. Maybe it's the new location or maybe the anticipation, but it just seemed to be missing something. We then headed over to Mega to stock up on drinks and snacks and other assorted stuff. Next..off to BadBoyz.

Hey Sunbaby!
Love those Speedos.  You should have seen the one that we saw last week! No need to ask him where the beach was 'cause he was pointing in the right direction...if you know what I mean.    I am so sorry that the Catamaya got cancelled because you were one gal that I really wanted to meet.  I knew that you like to hang out at la Pirata so I was scoping for you everytime we walked by but I didn't see you.  I saw some pics of you on the forum and let me tell you that you look georgeous!! More please.

I was hoping to meet you too. I did take a long walk up the beach that day, maybe we missed each other. The next day we decided to go to tulum, but that is yet to come. Thanks for the compliment.
BTW..was that guy you saw in Tulum??? I saw a younger couple there staying on the beach and he certainly was pointing. We stopped and talked to them for a while and there was no way I could get a close up pick of him without looking too obvious about it.

now where was I?? Oh yes. We drop off the supplies back at the hotel and head for Bad Boyz and it's already after 7pm. Ya see, the ladies I am with got to bed with the chickens and so they can't wait till after 8 pm to eat, so I was always late getting to Bad Boyz.
The Place was packed and hopping. I got to chat with a few people and even get to dance.  laura and big dave  after Bad Boyz, I headed down with Judy and Steve to the beer bucket. Somehow, I ended up getting a little tipsy from the rum. Biz and Sharon, Jimmy mn, and Synester were also there. Ron was grilling burgers and I just had to have one. Sorry, I ate the evidence   It was past one when I left, I think the club got into a little trouble for still being opened..that's probably Judy and Steves fault

 They look as if they belong in some kind of documentary with a feminine version of Steve Irwin's (RIP) voice. The Speedo Hunter: Here we see several Speedo wearers in one of their natural habitats...Let's approach them of a closer look...some of them are quite friendly...

Friday March 7th.
We got up and checked the beach. It was still pretty windy so we decided to rent a car and head to the south. We stopped by Akumal bay to see if it was calm enough to snorkel. Nope! So were were off to Tulum. We went to Parisio Beach club. It was really crowded so I decided to keep my top on. We took a walk toward the ruins and then back to our palapa. evelyn chillin  the view above  beach art  looking towards the ruins  a critter that laura kept trying to catch  people on the beach. he was the pointer in the speedo.  We soon were ready to go eat dinner, so we headed into town and ate at Don Cafetas. It started to rain and their roof had a leak. We got wet.  we ended up driving back to Playa in the rain. We turned in the car and took a cab back to 5th. I think I may have shopped some..I am having a brain fart. I think I turned in early.
