While in Tulum.......we decided to have a second breakfast.

La Nave was a great restaurant .....located on the left side of 307 pass Coba Road. We had Huevos Rancheros........delicious!

After spending a few hours in Sian Ka'an we headed on up to the Mezzanine for a break and dined on some Thai appetizers: Pork Wontons, Vegie Spring rolls, and a mushroom and cashew concoction that I'd love to be able to recreate. Awesome food along with the margaritas.

This report is getting me so excited to go back in July! Renting a car for the day is sounding more, and more like a good idea! Of course, i would do the driving. I wouldn't be caught dead with driving with Mel in Mexico

Great report Erica! keep it up!

We absolutely loved our time at Mezzanine and Tulum. We will be going back for sure.

We decided to pack up and head back to Playa del Carmen and get ready for our dinner with Mark (PlayadelSoul), his wife, Graciella and their two adorable boys. My gosh......they are the most well behaved young men and Graciella and Mark were lovely hosts. We all met up at HC Monterrey for .....of course.....their Arrachera! Let me say this.........this was an OUTSTANDING meal.......their baked potatoes which are lathered in a garlic and butter concoction (I'm sure there was something else in it too) that would have easily made us prone to a heart attack.....but DAMN!.....oh so good......and the arrachera is legend as well. Very fine meal.....we'll be back in July. We so enjoyed Mark and his family and we are now threatening to move in with them. Are you reading this Mark?

A lovely picture of us with Graciella and they boys.....

The Mezzanine is a great place to chill! We did it with DavidB on our Tammy Tour last year and lets just say, I'm surprised I didn't roll down the steps to the beach after drinking a coupla Tammy's Fav drinks! (insert falling over drunkard here!) Love the report! Hey Mikey, how 'bout Julius Jones, eh?
