I collect swimsuits like some people collect shoes. Can't help myself. I'm digging Mikey's hair too. Good to hear from you.

Were following similar paths during our next visit to PDC. Were looking into staying at Pension San Juan and really enjoyed your pictures. It looks better than I expected. Ive been to Punta Allen before on a day trip and will be revisiting during our next trip, so I also loved the photos. Is that the bridge in Boca Pilia? Did u stay overnight at Punta Allen?

We did not stay overnight in PA just went down to enjoy the ride there and hang out for lunch.......That is the bridge on the Boca Paila road.....The wooden the old bridge the concrete the new one.......The road is in such great shape compared to the last time we went.....And most of the beaches we stopped at were in sush great shape.....The waves were large and pounding though we could only get out maybe ten/fifteen yards before it was over my head and I am six two.......Instead of a flat beach is was curved from the waves pounding down on them......But it was so awesome to sit on the beach and watch the waves break on the beach......Maybe it will be more calm when you go down......Be sure and check out the place where we ate in PA......There is a surfboard with the name of the place on it.....And they were putting in a new deck around the place when we were there......We had some deep fried blackened shrimp dish along with shrimp quesadillas that were really really good.......Of course a couple of cold Modello especials......Also be sure and stop at the museum......Once you cross into the reserve I think it is like 4 kilometers down on your right hand side.......Hopefully the lookout will be open....It was closed when we were there (Some missing planks) but we actually snuck in and went to the top of the pallapa lookout anyway.......Be sure to check out the lagoon side....There is a bridge that takes you to a dock......You can sit on it and just lok out into the lagoon........

Heck Mikey...I'll just make sure that I am in Playa when you are and hitch a ride with you! What a great description you gave...but also a very informative post.

You are 6'2" tall?! I had no idea.
I would look like a shrimp if I was to stand beside you!

No the museum is four kilometers in "AFTER" you go under the arches that is the entrance to the reserve.......Hopefully it will be in full swing when you are there.....The main attraction for me is the look out pallapa.....Where you can go up and see 360......Very cool.......

Would love to show you around.....Have been exploring since finding the Roo in 2000......One of the reasons I never did the tours (Not that theres anything wrong with that) I just love getting out and finding things on my own.......And the rumors of how bad it is to drive down there are just wrong....It is reallly easy especially once you get on 307......Now it can be a little nerve racking in Playa at times......But Erica took the wheel and handled it like a pro.......You get use to it really quick.....

Thank you, Erica & Mikey, for helping me to escape from reality -- even if it was only for a moment! Your TR was awesome and the pictures were fantastic.
