Babe's Noodles & Bar

Although not exactly authentic Thai, this Asian noodle restaurant with a little bit of Swedish thrown in, sure delivers tasty food.

Appetizers such as crab rolls with mango sauce and spring rolls with the coveted peanut sauce start you off right. Standout entrees include the Red Curry, Thai Chicken and Swedish Meatballs, but Babe's many devotees will tell you that everything is good.

Vegetarians will be pleased to know that the noodle dishes may be ordered meatless. And imbibers of frozen fruity alcoholic beverages will be happy to know that the margaritas and daiquiris are super-sized and come in a variety of fruit flavors.

*******We Love BABES****** My daughters and I first discovered Babes 2 years ago, after our first meal we were hooked. We have had almost every dish on the menu and have always been pleased. Most recently (July 14th/08) our server had recommended a dish with the salmon, mushrooms, spinach and mash topped with fresh grated parm...WOW! It was so good we went back the next night for the same. The service, the prices, the food...always great. Oh ya...the giant margahritas are quite impressive as well. See you at BABE's

A good place to eat, and unlike some Avenida 5 restaurants, the prices were reasonable. It became one of our favourite eating places, during our two week stay in Playa. We especially loved their Green Curry. But their other dishes were equally good.

My favorites are the green curry and Thai chicken. Also, they offer half portions of entrees, which makes it easier to enjoy an appetizer or dessert as well. Great value
