We have stayed at the Colibri the last 5 times we have come to Playa and unless we couldnt get a room, we wouldnt stay anywhere else. It is located right on the beach with clean simple rooms. We have never had a problem with safety or security and the staff has always been friendly and helpful. The rates are excellent for what you are getting. They have a bar and resteraunt but dont count on them for much more than breakfast and lunch. I think they server until early evening 5-7 but in Playa there are TONS of great places to eat and drink so get out and experience this wonderful jewel of the Carribean!!
