Located in the exclusive gated resort community of Playacar (35 minutes south of the Cancun airport), Hacienda Uxmal is an exquisite hideaway for only the most discriminating guests. The sun-drenched ambiance is reflected through the simple yet elegant architecture of the Spanish Colonial design by architect Angel Eslea. Interiors were designed by the owner, renowned Connecticut interior decorator, Carol Whitley.
Double height ceilings, rough-sewn wood beams, skylights and custom Talavera tiles add to the home’s unique style. A Mayan waterfall spills into the sparkling swimming pools reflecting a lush landscape of tropical plants and palms. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen awaits the amateur chef. The large living room has a 18-foot wrap around sofa, 2 large rattan arm chairs and antique coffee table. The center piece of the dining room is a massive 9-foot mahogany table and 8 rattan arm chairs to encourage hours of dining pleasure. All the main rooms spill out onto the terra cotta tiled terrace and the pools beyond.
Four bedrooms and a master suite sleep a total of 11 guests. Four and a half bathrooms, some with double sinks, a sky-lit tub and showers, are each enhanced with hand-made blue and white tiles. Each upstairs bedroom has its own balcony. The Hacienda is fully air conditioned with individual room controls and is perfectly situated on the 13th hole of the beautiful and challenging Robert Von Hagge Golf Course.
Only a short walk away is the ferry boat to Cozumel and Playa’s famed “La Quinta” (5th Ave). The pedestrian street is lined with many shops and international cafes. La Quinta comes alive at night with strolling musicians and lively international conversations. But the best of Playa is the miles of silky white beaches kissed by the sparkling turquoise waters of the Mexican Caribbean.

BEDROOOMS
The 1st floor has 2 bedrooms each with private bath. One with a single twin bed and one with 2 twins.
The 2nd floor includes a master suite with dressing area, sky-lit bath, king bed and private balcony.
The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and balcony.
The 3rd bedroom (children’s room) has two twin beds and two built-in bunk beds. Included in the children’s room is a TV with DVD player and a selection of children’s movies. There is a large shared bath between the two bedrooms.

Check in/Check out: Check in is after 3:00 p.m and check out is before 10:00 a.m.
House Rules: You are responsible for the property at all times during your visit. It
is your responsibility to make sure all doors and windows are secure and locked before leaving
the unit, even if it is for just a quick stroll down the street. These few extra steps will
ensure the security of your belongings. Exceeding the maximum amount of people allowed by the
agreement may result in an eviction at the property managers own discretion.
Maintenance: It is the responsibility of the property management company to make sure
all appliances and utilities are in good operable condition. However, sometimes mistakes do
happen and the need for maintenance is necessary. The property manager is available 24 hours a
day and will try his/her best to correct the problem as soon as possible.
Lockbox, Safe and Keys: Some of our units are equipped with a lock box installed next
to the front door. Please do not remove the key from it’s chain and put the top part back on
after you use it.
Changing the lock on the front door or a safe if so equipped costs money. The loss of either
the key or the top part of the lock box will result in a $75.00 charge.
Maid Service: Maid Service is available during your stay for an additional charge.

Reservations and Payments: A 5% service charge will be added to the rental rates.
A 50% payment of the total rental amount is required within 7 days after reserving your unit
for confirmation. Failure to do so will result in the cancellation of your reservation. The
balance must be paid 30 days prior to the arrival date.
The total rental amount is due for reservations made within 30 days of the arrival date.
If cancellation of the reservation becomes necessary then a refund is issued according to the
guidelines and limitations outlined below:-
75% of the amount will be refunded if cancellation occurs 90 days prior to the arrival
date.
50% of the amount will be refunded if cancellation occurs 61 – 90 days prior to the arrival
date.
25% of the amount will be refunded if cancellation occurs 31-60 days prior to the arrival
date.
No Refunds if cancellation occurs less than 30 days prior to the arrival
date.
