    Bad Boys Beach Bar will be partying on October 31st. The Halloween fun starts at 7pm. If you wish to participate in the potluck, bring a dish.

    Update from Bad Boys:

    don’t forget there will be a potluck starting at 6 pm.
    we will be providing chilaquiles de pollo.

    the bad boys band will play from 6 – 10 pm on wednesday, 31st.

    we have a costume contest, well, 2 contests:

    1) general best costume.

    2) sexiest custome.

    on both contests we well have 2 winners.

    first prize: a bad boys tee shirt plus a bucket of beer.
    second prize: a bucket of beer.

    They take Halloween very seriously at La Buena Vida in Akumal! For years, they’ve been throwing some of the biggest Halloween parties around.

    This year, the party will take place on Saturday, November 3rd. They will have a costume contest with prizes, including 1,000 pesos for best costume! Proceeds from the event go to building a new classroom in the Akumal pueblo (town across the highway).

    Tuesday is Ladies Night at Sala Rosa, but next week, Tuesday October 30th will be Ladies Night-mare. Ladies drink free (tequila, vodka, gin, rum) from 8pm-Midnight. There will also be free "horror" shots and a costume contest.

    The Little English Schoolhouse in Puerto Morelos is organizing a trick-or-treating walk for children to start from the zocalo (main plaza) at 5pm on Wednesday, October 31st. They are looking for representatives from Playa Sol, Tortugas, and Los Iguanas to be available at the entrances to greet the kids and pass out candy from the residents.

    Señor Frog’s will award 3,000 pesos to the best costume on October 31st. Open bar will be 300 pesos or 200 pesos for those in costume. Come dressed as a luchador (Mexican professional wrestler) and fight the Frog’s mummies (whatever that means).
